Not all departments have the ability to assign a RIT crew from their initial response from their own department be it volunteer or full time. Most have just enough showing up to attack the fire and search the building. This class will talk about how as smaller departments can look at a big city response and model it to their department to make sure they have a designated RIT crew on scene. It will also talk about what is needed for a RIT team. The number of members, tools, skills, training, and mindset will all be talked about.
