Be An Innovator

Innovation is crucial to the continuing success of any organization. Innovators change things by taking new ideas, sometimes their own and sometimes other peoples and not only develop but promote those ideas until they become an accepted part of daily life. Innovation requires self-confidence, taking risks and a leadership ability to have a vision of what the future should be.

Vision takes commitment and drives everything! It is an art form that requires you to see what is often invincible to others and will play a immense role in maintaining forward progress. We must create habits that help achieve our vision on a daily basis. Place your focus on reaching the objective and not on the distractions. This will take time but surrounding yourself with those who are on the same mission as you will keep you grounded and ultimately more successful.

MLK once said “you do not need to see the whole staircase to take the first step”. The key point being that every step forward is progress! So TAKE THE FIRST STEP! Do not wait for the perfect moment as timing will never be just right. Start where you are now and work with what you have, better ways will be found as you move forward. Remember, “vision without execution is just hallucination! People will join a leader that demonstrates great vision but they will likely leave an organization because of poor leadership.
